Kaiju Alpha Monster Zero Skulls

Checked:

What is actually established, and what is one person's report

Skull hunting is the part of this game with the widest gap between how confidently it gets written up and how much of it anyone has actually confirmed. So each item below says which it is.

You need 10 skulls

Two independent guides state the number outright, and no guide we checked gives a different one. This is the firmest fact on the page.

A guide author reports only one skull per server

The creator behind one of the recent location maps writes that you should switch servers often "because there's only 1 skull in each server", and puts the full hunt at about an hour. We flag this as one player's first-hand report rather than a confirmed rule — it is not in any developer note, and other guides walk through eight or more locations in a single video without saying whether that took one server or several. Plan for server-hopping; do not be surprised if a server yields more.

The locations were re-mapped in August 2026

This one is not in dispute. A creator publishing a fresh location map two weeks ago opens by saying the developers remodelled the map and moved the skulls, and the newest guides are titled "all NEW Monster Zero skull locations". Any location list without a visible date on it is the thing to distrust — the three-month-old maps that still rank well are describing a map that no longer exists.

The loop

In order, and with the reasoning attached rather than assumed:

  1. Check the upload date on whatever location guide you follow. Anything from before mid-August is mapping the old layout.
  2. Sweep an island for skulls as world objects — this is a search, not a fight, so travel speed matters far more than damage.
  3. When a server stops yielding, leave and rejoin to land in a fresh one. Rejoining the same server does not respawn what you took.
  4. Repeat until you have all ten. Budget roughly an hour if the one-per-server report holds; less if it does not.

Pick the right body for the hunt

This is a search problem, not a fight, so the stat that matters is travel speed rather than damage. A flier covers an island far faster than a heavy ground kaiju, and nothing you meet matters if you do not stop to fight it. Jet Jaguar 1973 at 9,500 cells is described as extremely fast and is cheap enough to buy purely as a scouting body; Showa Jet Jaguar and Showa Hedorah both fly at 50,000. The full price list is on the unlock requirements page.

Server choice matters too. The Forest island has no buildings to hide a skull behind and almost no players to interrupt you; Tokyo has the densest geometry in the game and the most traffic. Sweeping quiet islands is slower per island but far more reliable per attempt.

Why there is no coordinate list on this page

We do not publish our own coordinate list. Nobody on this site has swept the current map, and copying a list from a video we cannot verify would be exactly the kind of stale data this page is warning you about. What we can tell you honestly is the count, the one-per-server rule, and that the map changed — those three facts are what actually determine how long the hunt takes.

Monster Zero skull questions

Ghidorah skulls vs Monster Zero skulls

Same thing. Monster Zero is King Ghidorah, and both phrasings are searched about equally.

Is there a skull shortcut

Not one we can source. The one-per-server rule is the limiter, and no guide we read claims a way around it.
